Mancora Zip Line

This is a new sport and its already here in Mancora, just 10 minutes from town situated at the Eco Fundo la Caprichosa where you can find the aeromoto canopy circuit. Designed and built with local talent and security needed in this sport. We have top of the line gear and our pulleys are equipped with a special break for maximum security and safety. All our platforms and gear had been inspected by security engineers.

This is 2 to 3 hour journey, we recommend bringing shoes, a cap and sunblock.

Marine Tours

We offer, all year round, the “Marine Life Observation” tour, which allows you to get in close contact with the history and life experiences of fishermen from several fishing coves on the northern coast of Peru.

In addition, you will have the chance to watch the amazing and diverse marine fauna found in the area including bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), common dolphins (Delphinus capensis, D. delphis), fur seals (Otaria flavescens), sea turtles (Chelonia mydas), marine birds such as the blue footed booby (Sula nebouxi) and the frigatebird (Fregata magnificens), navigating within the area where the cold Humboldt ecosystem and the warm equatorial ecosystem converge.

Whale Watching – Humpback Whale

Between August and October the humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) arrives to the northern coast off Peru coming from the Antarctic waters, for mating and calving. During the “Marine Life Observation” tour, it is possible to watch these magnificent cetaceans breaching, swimming and diving in groups or even to observe the calves games, always occurring under the vigilant eye of their enormous mothers.

This tour also serves as a research platform for the ongoing study about the behavioral activity, distribution and population aspects of the Humpback Whale, which is being carried out by the Pacifico Adventure’s marine biologist staff. Tourists can collaborate with the research taking very precise pictures of the ventral side of the fluke in order to identify the sighted animals.

Included: boat trip, snorkeling equipment (masks, snorkels, fins), life jackets, bilingual diving guides and hydrating beverages.

Fishing - Inshore Trolling

The tour departs from the picturesque Organos Cove and goes along the coast through fishing areas we know, all the way down to Cabo Blanco.

In the coastal trolling you will be able to capture the famous Broomtail Gropers and more.

Included: Pacifico Boat or Pacifico Yacht (depending on your preference), fishing rods, special lures, a hook, bilingual crew with years of fishing experience, bottled water, Gatorades, delicious snacks and life vests.

Duration: 4 hours in the Pacifico Boat or 5 hours in Pacifico Yacht.

Snorkeling by Boat

For this enjoyable tour you will embark on the fishing quay of Los Organos to sail bordering the coast.

The boat will take you to the best “lows” (group of rocks found close to the surface of the ocean), the ideal place to snorkel.

Beach Snorkeling

Snorkel in the beautiful bay of Organos and discover the underwater world, the coastal reef and its colorful inhabitants. This protected bay is ideal to enjoy snorkeling and it is suitable for every level of expertise.

Included: Complete snorkeling equipment and bilingual diving guides.

If it is your first time snorkeling, you will be given some basic techniques so that you will be able to learn in one day.

Snorkeling time is free. Delight your senses and encounter the magic of the northern coast. The tour will take place if the weather permits.

The Hemingway Route

Solitary beaches, marine fossils, impressive rock formations amongst other wonders you will see during this dreamlike route. You will become acquainted with both the present and past of a series of important fishing coves that have left their mark in the history of Peru, such as the Ñuro and Cabo Blanco. These silent landscapes and the fishermen’s world that surrounds it, is the “Hemingway Route”. All this ingredients inspired Ernest Hemingway to write his famous novel “The Old Man and the Sea”.

Mangrove Swamps - National Sanctuary of Tumbes

This natural protected area contains a unique representative sample of a mangrove swamp system in Peru. With this tour will get to know an untouched area of this beautiful national sanctuary. Over two hundred bird species are protected in this area - many of them unique to this area - and has been recognized as an ecosystem of international importance as it is a temporary rest stop for migratory birds. The mangroves inhabit this estuary where salt water from the sea and fresh water from the river mix, forming in this way one of the most productive ecosystems teeming with life.

The aphrodisiac black scallops come only from this place. We can also find prawns, crabs and a large variety of commercially important fish species.

We invite you to travel on canoes along the channels of the mangrove forest and enjoy its fantastic scenery and sounds. Here you will enjoy a full and close contact with nature.

The tour includes: Full transportation to and from your place of accommodation, personalized attention, trip on row boat with a local guide, life jackets, a wholesome snack and a demonstration of the extraction procedure of scallops and crabs.
