MANCORA KITESURF SCHOOL
Make sure you have a quality kitesurf lesson with a qualified instructor so you get the best possible and fun kitesurfing lesson. You will learn with somebody that has the experience of teaching in different wind conditions and locations making you a self sufficient and safe kiteboarder.
Our Kite School follows IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) standards, that means we make our lessons safe and fun at the same time, trying to make it as fast as possible (to save you money), depending on each students ability.
Mancora Beach offers a nice setup for teaching kiteboarding with a nice bay were the wind blows side shore to start, and side on the other side of the bay, so it’s perfect because you will never have to worry about getting drifted out or sideways on the beach in case you can’t relaunch your kite, you will always end up on the beach where your instructor is always waiting to give you a hand.
The wind blows consistently from 10 to 25 knots from April to December (sometimes January is good too).
If you are a kitewave rider Mancora Beach is a good place to push your limits in wave riding, a nice peeling left hander wave that can break anywhere from 3 to 8 foot. It offers you a long ride, without being scary if you are new to waveriding.
Mancora also has a little lagoon for freestyle with really nice, super flat water. Sometimes the water is very low so it’s always good to check it carefully before you throw a kiteloop or something like that!

Getting the correct gear for a new kitesurfer can be a huge challenge because of several reasons - for example for somebody new to any sport you don’t really know about what is good for you, or you just don’t know the gear at all!
Mancora Kitesurf will guide you to choose what is good for you, for your experience, a good kite size for your weight, spot and level without trying to sell just for the sake of selling. We have access to different kitesurfing and surfing brands that are top selling brands in the world market.
Best, Slingshot, Liquid Force, F One and Surftech are what we usually have in stock. Our products are located in Lima, so it takes at least one day to get the product to Mancora. We have a small amount of stock in Mancora, so if you are interested in a particular item is better to contact us so we can have what you need when you need it!
